Who am I?
A 70’s child—think disco balls and bell bottoms
Couldn’t be a dancer, a gymnast, or a figure skater
So I perched in trees and made up stories
Wrote poetry and songs
And read loads of books
Hung out with a grandma who tried to dye her white Pomeranian blue
Loved every minute of high school
Moved to Paris
Returned home to the Pacific Northwest
Graduated from a university in Arizona
Got religion
Married a guy
Tried to be a grown up
Hopped all over the country
Settled into an A-Frame ski cabin in the North Cascades
Snuggled up in a bean bag chair in front of a rock fireplace
And started making up stories… again
